General Questions/New to Joomla! 3.x • Getting..Using $this when not in object context

Hi,

A friend has had a site 3.6.2 for years and it has been great.

This week he installed a WP site and said he had to change the php to 7.4.

The Joomla front end can't come up but he can get into admin okay.

I don't know much about either Joomla or WP but my guess it has affected Joomla.

Am I right ?

What should he do to to correct it ?
